Adrian Loud, a Shareholder at Atlanta CPA Firm Bennett Thrasher, made a presentation on November 16, 2009 to the Heart of Georgia Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs.  Adrian, Bennett Thrasher's Valuation service line leader, provided an overview of forensic and valuation services to the chapter.  His focus was why the specialized knowledge and investigative skills possessed by CPAs make them distinctly qualified to handle valuation, forensic accounting, litigation support, and related opportunities.

On November 5, 2009, over 70 Bennett Thrasher Associates spent the day volunteering at the Atlanta Community Food Bank.  Organized and sponsored by the Bennett Thrasher Foundation, the volunteers were able to package over 21,000 lbs of food resulting in 14,017 meals for people in need in the greater Atlanta area.
