Bennett Thrasher Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Atlanta-based CPA firm Bennett Thrasher had the honor of awarding two $2,500 scholarships to two graduating Elite Scholar Students in the Choices Matter Development Foundation Elite Scholar Program.
On behalf of the Bennett Thrasher Foundation, President Tiffany Scales presented the two recipients and their families the scholarship award at the annual Elite Scholars banquet on Saturday evening.
”It was wonderful to see a group of young, bright students who are concerned about their well-being, their education, and how they can make a difference. I am glad that the Bennett Thrasher Foundation could be a part of their experience” stated Scales.
The mission of Choices Matter Development Foundation is to provide opportunities of success for young African American males and females between the ages of 6 and 22. Through effective programming, mentoring and family involvement, the students are taught how to make the right choices that will help them achieve success.
