Bennett Thrasher PC, Atlanta's 11th largest certified public accounting and consulting firm, today announces the addition of Matthew R. Grosvenor, CPA as a Senior Manager in our Financial Reporting and Assurance practice. By joining Bennett Thrasher, Matt will allow for further expansion of Bennett Thrasher's service offerings to the healthcare industry.
Grosvenor has extensive experience that spans fifteen years working with hospital systems and the healthcare industry. Most recently Matt worked as the System Controller for one of the largest hospital systems in Atlanta. For over five years, Grosvenor was a key member of management as this system grew from approximately $575 million to almost $1 billion in net revenues.
Grosvenor began his career in Atlanta in the assurance and business advisory practice of Arthur Andersen LLP. During that time, in addition to healthcare, Matt also assisted emerging enterprises, not-for-profits, and privately held and publicly traded companies in the US and Europe. He has worked extensively with companies in the software, service, manufacturing, technology, and healthcare industries.
Matt has a unique perspective as a technical accountant and CPA, hospital administrator and corporate controller for a large healthcare system. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specialty in accounting, from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Georgia Society of CPA’s. He is also Treasurer of a local church-based retirement community.
