On November 5, 2009, over 70 Bennett Thrasher Associates spent the day volunteering at the Atlanta Community Food Bank. Organized and sponsored by the Bennett Thrasher Foundation, the volunteers were able to package over 21,000 lbs of food resulting in 14,017 meals for people in need in the greater Atlanta area.
The Atlanta Community Food Bank was founded in 1979 and distributes nearly two million pounds of food and other donated grocery items to its more than 800 partner agenices in 38 metro counties.
